The amped up new rocker pattern has over 3" of rocker, making the board ride more nose high into the largest of wakes as well as delivering softer landings out in the flats. With a subtle 3 stage rocker, the pop is explosive but consistent. The new molded bottom fins are longer, thinner and deeper with a step-down tail which gives the board more control. The molded fins help the board track while giving the board almost a 4 fin feel. New cupped channels vent on edging, giving the board tremendous grip and speed into the wake. The Absolute hull has a center spine that extends under the bindings. When landing, the spine pushes the water out to either side for the softest landings yet. All this adds up to a board that is more controllable and stays under the rider to deliver excessive lift from the wake. It is truly a board that will fit any rider’s style.PLATINUM CONSTRUCTIONA lightweight manufacturing process exclusive to CWB utilizes high strength fiberglass rods encapsulated with air. The rods are capped and surrounded by a lighter density closed cell polyurethane resin core. The core is then wrapped completely with carbon fiber and a minimal amount of fiberglass. New for 2005 is a Texalium top. The result is superior strength-to-weight ratio, structural stability and torsional control for better performance, and the loss of almost one pound.
